Côterie Bons Vivants

Côterie (a small group of people with shared interests or tastes) + Bons Vivants (one fond of good living)

Since its inception in 2003, I have been working closely with highly-acclaimed international winemakers to create the distinctive and sought-after wines of the Long Shadows collection. It has provided me with the opportunity to more acutely hone my trade-in viticulture and winemaking using cutting-edge technology alongside a great team environment. It has led to the creation of my family's wine Côté Nicault in 2010 and subsequently the formation of the Côterie.

The Côterie Bons Vivants (CBV) is an exclusive group established for those who live life to its fullest, known to the French as “la joie de vivre”. Google translates it as an “exuberant enjoyment of life” but being a Bon Vivant is simply to embrace life with enthusiasm and spice.

More than just a wine club, my vision for the CBV is to bring us together to share our joie de vivre. Savoring epicurean moments at intimate gatherings, winemaker dinners, tastings and even traveling together. I foresee our assemblage evolving over the years to a close-knit group that will thrive on experiencing what life has to offer.

As a small production wine dedicated to quality over quantity, Côté Nicault has been reserved for Long Shadows Key Club Members and my closest friends.

To go along with my love of food and wine, I have selected one restaurant each year to partner with on the newly released wine. This unique partnership has led to mutual support, friendship, and great meals over the years. And while going out to savor the creations of our beloved chefs, our restaurant partners will periodically extend to the Bons Vivants some relishing privileges.

I look forward to creating memories together!
